Rutt Wipe Introduces Blaze Orange Toilet Paper

Rutt Wipe Introduces Blaze Orange Toilet Paper

Rutt Wipe Blaze Orange Toilet Paper Protects Your Assets

Farmington, MN – Rutt Wipe, Inc., is pleased to introduce its original blaze orange
toilet paper. A must have for every hunter, the blaze orange TP, which is specifically
designed to protect your assets, is a hunter-safe alternative product that eliminates the
appearance of flashing your household white TP in the woods – a potentially dangerous
activity, as that bright white can easily be mistaken for the same anatomical area of a
whitetail deer.

"White TP poses a serious danger to hunters, especially deer hunters,” stated Brian
Primus, President of Rutt Wipe, Inc. “Using blaze orange TP is consistent with the rest of
hunting attire; orange jackets, vests, gloves, hats, and even slings are worn to assure that
when another hunter sees something move through the brush, they do not see flashes of
brown or white. A novel idea….and practical too!”

Rutt Wipe is a blaze orange biodegradable, non-toxic tissue paper that offers many uses
beyond outdoor hygiene. This hunter-safe TP can also be used for trail marking ribbons,
tracking deer, and even draping scent wicks over branches.

Rutt Wipe is a simple, but smart product. Anyone who hunts will find a great use for it.
As the wrapper points out, “Don’t get shot with yer pants down.” For more information

Kwikee Kwiver co. Launches new Finishes.

April 2012 Immediate Release
New Finishes – Not necessarily camouflage

Williamsburg, MI – Kwikee Kwiver Co. is adding three new finish patterns to their Kwikee
Kompound (K6), K‐4 COMBO (K4C) and Kwik‐3 SS (K3S) quiver lines.  These new patterns step
outside the traditional camouflage hunting patterns typically found on Kwikee Kwiver products.

In 2011 there were over 150 bow models available from over 23 manufacturers presented in at
least 40 different finishes.  Kwikee Kwiver has always strived to provide matching products to
the greatest number of bows.  To expand the reach in this goal the PSE Skullworks, TWN Skulz
and Carbon Black have been added to the finishes available on the most popular Kwikee Kwiver
models.

Kwikee has traditionally provided the typical camouflage patterns that appealed to the archery
hunting community since their quivers are tailored for the hunter.  With the expansion of bows
and the finishes they present, it was only time before Kwikee would be providing the matching
accessories.

PSE Skullworks was presented at the 2012 Archery Trade Association show in January as a new
pattern that would be available on all PSE bows.  Dealers and consumers are reacting positively
to this new finish.  A quick conversation with PSE to gain access to the film and the processing
began.

Skulz has been available and is appearing on more bows.  Kwikee had provided some product in
this finish to a TV production in the past and everyone was pleased with the appearance.  The
pattern looks good on matching bows or black bows.

Carbon Black is appearing on several bows and is also a general alternative to their Legendary
Black.  For bows that exist in patterns where Kwikee doesn’t have a match this is a great
alternative.

Onyx gear keeping me comfortable

Onyx gear keeping me comfortable.

By: Dave Thomas BHP Prostaff

I am a firm believer in quality hunting clothes.  I recently have been testing the Arctic Shield Light wear during turkey season to say WOW!  This gear is quite and extremely comfortable. To thin you say?  Not with Arctic shield they use amazing technology to keep your heat from escaping.  They have a special layer of high tech material that pushes your body heat back down to your body keeping you toasty warm.  You can also add the Onyx base layers to further heat your core and keep you in the woods much longer.  This past hunt I was on the temperature dropped a good 20 degrees from 60s to 40s, but I was never cold, well my hands were but that was because I was not wearing gloves.  You can learn more about this amazing technology at http://www.onyxoutdoor.com/

Keep an eye out for our Testlab video on Onyx products.

About Arctic Shield -

ArcticShield technology utilizes a multi-layered thermal barrier that captures and returns up to 90 percent of your body heat which is more effective than thick traditional insulation that only slows body heat loss. This cold-weather clothing is innovatively thin and unbelievably warm.

Support Your Local Pro Shop

By: Jason Huffman

I remember several years ago when I first got into archery.  I had never shot before and had no archer friends close by to guide me.  I lived in a pretty small town and had bought an older, inexpensive bow on eBay hoping I would enjoy bowhunting.  I was able to do some shooting-mostly piddling- but all in all, I had no clue what I was doing.

Fast forward a couple of years, I had the same cheap bow and old accessories and was living in a different small town, still with no archery shop to speak of.  So I went to one of the outdoor mega-stores and decided to update my old bow with some new attachments-arrow rest, sights, release, etc.  I made the mistake of assuming that the college kid working part-time in the archery dept. was a real pro.  So I dropped over $200 into some purchasing some carbon arrows and installing new upgrades, and went home.

After I got home, ready to sight in my new fiber-optic sights, I noticed that my recently-purchased arrow fletchings were tearing as they passed through my Whisker Biscuit.  I figured since nobody at the megastore told me these fletchings would not work with that arrow rest, that their must be something wrong with my setup.  Accuracy didn’t seem to be an issue, but this did cause me to go through a lot of arrows.  I knew the more I shot, I would eventually be left with a bunch of bald arrows.  I also had the joy of punching myself in the face when using my inexpensive release on a friend’s 70# bow as the string loop slipped through a tiny crack between the jaws; not to mention putting his bow through a partial dry fire.  All of this made my archery experience frustrating to say the least and caused me to put it down for quite a while.

Thankfully, now we have a great archery shop in town.  I find them to be competitively priced, but I don’t mind paying a few dollars more on most items, especially if it means I’m buying products that will work on my set-up and I won’t have to keep coming back to the store to have things adjusted.  They’ve been able to give me a lot of advice and pointers, as well as recommendations on products that work with my set-up.  They’ve also prevented me from buying items that were useless for my existing equipment which has saved me a ton of time and money.

If you are an experienced archer and technician and know exactly what you need, then the megastores or websites will work.  However, none of this eliminates the responsibility we all have to do our own homework and research to find out what equipment and tactics will work best for our individual needs.  But I’ve learned the hard way that you can waste a lot of money fast if you don’t know what you’re buying, and a lot of heartache can be avoided by consulting knowledgeable staff at your local pro shop.  Thanks to my local shop, shooting is enjoyable and productive, rather than frustrating.  I get things at my local shop I can’t get in a megastore or an online shopping site, and most of it isn’t merchandise.  The guys and girls at the local shop live in your community.  Their kids go to school with your kids.  They hunt in the same part of the country you do.  They may have information on shooting events and contests in your area.  So if you haven’t been to your local pro shop in a while, it may be time for a visit.
