My name is George, I started hunting when I was 7 years old with my family up in Hale, Michigan. I took my first buck when I was 14 and can remember it to this day. I am 34 now and in 2010 I started hunting in the Macomb area where I've been able to see a lot more action than I ever have up in Hale. I do a lot of prepping and scouting once the season starts rolling around. I bow hunt as much as I can, gun hunt for the Michigan season, and continue to bow hunt after gun season has come to an end. During the off season, I turkey hunt, small game hunt and ice fish when I can get out. I introduced hunting to both of my kids at an early age and they have been following it with me ever since, if they want to continue once they get older, that's up to them!

I have been married for 8 years, and have 2 children, Lexi (8) and George (5). My family and I like being outdoors camping, boating and spending time up in Caseville at our cottage.

I've been in EMS for 15 years at Superior Ambulance and recently became a member of the Macomb TWP Fire Dept.

I'm looking forward to reading everyone's posts and seeing successful pictures of everyone's harvests, Happy Hunting!
