YOUR SEASON. YOUR SETUP. YOUR STORY.

Plan around the conditions, keep your rig dialed in, and save the details you want to remember.

Rig cards and journals save on this device. They do not sync between browsers or create an online account. Export a backup before clearing browser data or changing devices.

KNOW THE CONDITIONS

MOON & LOCAL WEATHER

Use lunar context and the local forecast alongside your own scouting observations.

LUNAR PLANNER

Moon phase

Calculated lunar estimates, not a prediction of deer movement. A ZIP lookup sets the local time zone and sunrise/sunset location. Phase names describe the nearest phase; illumination changes continuously.

FORECAST FOR YOUR ZIP

Enter a ZIP code to load your local forecast.

Forecasts use the ZIP-code area, not your precise stand location. Weather covers the upcoming forecast periods; changing the moon date does not request historical weather.

MAKE EVERY SIT COUNT

MY HUNT JOURNAL

Keep scouting notes, deer observations and the setup you hunted with. Entries stay in this browser until you export them.

The current saved rig is noted when you create an entry. A journal entry does not submit an official state harvest report. Precise location sharing is not required.

PLAN THE PLACE

YOUR STATE. YOUR ACCESS.

Start with official agency information and confirm the rules for the specific property you plan to hunt.

All 50 state wildlife / DNR websites & hunting regulations

Choose your state’s official agency for current seasons, licenses, legal equipment, reporting and public-land rules. Direct regulation pages are included where verified; otherwise start at the agency website. Check the current hunting year before relying on a rule.

READ THE HABITAT

FOOD. COVER. ACCESS.

A practical starting point for scouting—not a promise that a particular spot will hold deer.

TREES & NATURAL FOOD

  • Oaks: Check which trees are actually dropping acorns and look for fresh feeding sign. Mast crops vary from year to year.
  • Soft mast: Where locally present, persimmons, wild apples and other fruit can provide short-lived feeding opportunities.
  • Browse & forbs: New woody growth, brambles and broadleaf plants help connect deer food needs with security cover.
  • Seasonal changes: Food availability and preferred forage vary by region, habitat and time of year. Use local plant and wildlife guides.

LOOK FOR A HUNTING SPOT

  1. Verify legal access and identify the property's boundaries.
  2. Find the relationship between food, bedding cover and terrain.
  3. Check fresh tracks, droppings, rubs and trails rather than relying only on last year's sign.
  4. Plan an entry and exit that account for wind and how deer use the area.
  5. Log what you observe and adjust your plan as food and conditions change.
